Confirm actual coverage
Ask whether the business serves the address and whether travel or access affects the proposal. A city on a website does not establish current availability. Share parking, entry and hour constraints. For multi-location work, keep separate records so one regional heading does not hide different conditions. Ask who attends each site and where the agreement applies.
Compare the endpoint
List board work, preparation, finish, texture, primer, paint, protection and cleanup. Mark each included, excluded or unclear. Ask about quantities and conditions rather than reading the total alone. Record how unknown damage is handled and changes authorized. A lower total can describe less work rather than a more efficient route to the same result.
Verify separately
Use Washington L&I resources to check relevant contractor information and confirm insurance details directly. Registration does not establish workmanship or suitability. Ask for relevant references and read the scope. This regional publication supports planning across the South Sound; it does not verify listings, rank providers or dispatch crews. Keep public-record checks separate from your assessment of the actual offer.
Keep these questions with your notes
- Confirm coverage for the actual address.
- Compare inclusions and exclusions.
- Verify the business separately from its proposal.
